Sample request lists that process owners can actually fulfill

Vague sample lists create idle days on site. We write requests that name the document, period, and owner so finance can prepare ahead.

A request that says “provide invoices for testing” guarantees a slow Monday. A request that says “November sales invoices 1042–1098 plus related delivery notes and cash receipts, owner: Ms. Hsu in AR” gives finance a chance to prepare.

We write sample lists with document type, period or ID range, preferred format, and the person accountable. Copies of the list go to the client contact and the process owner on the same day.

Batching requests

Dumping forty requests on Friday afternoon is a common way to lose goodwill. We release lists in waves tied to the next two testing days, and we close items on the daily log so owners see progress, not only new asks.

When documents will not exist

Some verbal approvals never left an email trail. Note that constraint in the planning memo and agree alternative evidence before the team arrives, rather than discovering the gap on site.
