East District offices and Changhua warehouses do not share a lunch break. A fieldwork calendar that ignores travel, loading-dock hours, and inventory count windows creates idle seniors and frustrated warehouse managers.
We build calendars in three layers: fixed count dates, flexible testing blocks, and buffer half-days for document chase. Travel between sites is written as a block, not assumed to happen “around” testing.
Protecting the count
Physical inventory observation gets first claim on the calendar. Revenue cut-off testing is scheduled around the same window when shipping volume is highest. Soft areas such as payroll walkthroughs fill the remaining days so they do not collide with count observation.
Sharing the calendar early
Process owners receive the draft two weeks before interim fieldwork. They mark blackout dates (system freezes, board packs). We adjust once, then freeze the visit order unless a plant closure forces a change.
